Herb Middleton was inspired a couple of years ago to give the beautiful country and people of Liberia a unique, musical sound that blends several familiar U.S. styles of music with African influenced rhythms and sounds. The vocal arrangements also will have a blended flavor.
The overall goal is to unite and develop selected Liberian and American talent, cultivating a unique customized African American sound to impact the world.
The goal for each artist will be to develop their music careers with full artist development, making them into individual brands in order to secure their success and protect each investment, including money and time.
The short term goal is to create a compilation as a product to introduce the
“new sound” and artist im order to release fully funded solo projects in the future under the MoonTown Records/ LIB establishment.
We at MoonTown Records & Publishing along with the support of the government officials there are creating an army of entertainers featuring Liberia’s finest talent that represents positivity and unity.
We are privileged to have Emmett Benjamin Hutchinson filling an A&R position in MoonTown Records & Publishing that happens to be Liberian. He will be opening the door for new talent from the country.
